The competition attracted a total of 178 athletes from 46 countries and regions around the world, including many domestic and international athletes in track and field. In the competitions 16 projects for men and women in this challenge, the Chinese team achieved 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. Chinese player Wang Wei won the Women's hammer championship with 75.27 meters and helped the Chinese team won the first gold. The Women's shot put game, China's sister Gong Lijun won the championship with 19.84 meters. On the men's game, the high jumper Wang Yu added another gold to the Chinese team by jumping over the advantage of 2.31 meters. In the long jump competition, Zhang Yaoguang and Gao Xinglong respectively won the second and third.
