On the 8th, the reporter get information from the 2020 WA World Indoor Athletics Championships Nanjing Organizing Committee that Nanjing, as the host city of another international track and field event, is stepping up its preparations before the game. WA President Sebastian Coe also expressed concern about the first indoor track and field championships held in China. After the end of the Doha Athletics World Championships, WA President Sebastian Coe said in an interview with the media that the strength of the Chinese players is impressive in this competition and he is looking forward the Indoor Athletics World Championships in Nanjing, China next year.

It is reported that from March 13 to 15, 2020, the 2020 WA World Indoor Athletics Championships will be held in Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Sports Park. This is the first time that China host the Indoor Athletics World Championships. It is also the world's top standard track and field event in China after the 2015 Beijing World Athletics Championships. The holding of the event will greatly promote the popularization of athletics in China and increase the enthusiasm of the Chinese people to participate in athletics.

The reporter get information from the 2020 WA World Indoor Athletics Championships Nanjing Organizing Committee that at present, Nanjing, as the host city of the event, is stepping up preparations for the pre-match. All the construction of the main venue of the event has been completed, and various acceptance and test matches will be ushered in. The venue is the first indoor hall in China up the standard to host the World Indoor Athletics Championships. It is also the new professional track and field gymnasium for this event in Nanjing.

It is understood that in order to prepare for the competition, the Nanjing Organizing Committee of this event specially sent a delegation to preparation and operation of Doha intensive learning competition for the world athletics championships.

At the site of the Doha Athletics World Championships, the delegation visited the functional areas of venue and operation lines to learn more about the competition awards, media interviews and press releases; and with number of functional departments such as media operation and TV broadcast, Propaganda Promotion, volunteer service have special learning exchange; and met with the Chinese track and field delegation to report to the China association for the advancement of the 2020 WA World Indoor Championships and the next work plan and focus.
