On the afternoon of November 9th, the director of the International Association of Athletics Federations, the vice chairman of the Asian Athletics Association and the vice chairman of the China Athletics Association and secretary of the Party Committee Wang Nan led a delegation to inspect the Yangtze River Complex. The delegation visited the lobby, guest rooms, restaurants, conference rooms, conference halls of Hualuxe Hotel and Yiheng hotels, and listened to the report of Nanjing Yangzi State-Owned Investment Group's leadership on hotel construction and preparation report. During the discussion, Li Zhenchu, the secretary and chairman of the Party Committee of Nanjing Yangzi State-Owned Investment Group introduced the overall progress of the project. Deputy General Manager and member of Party Committee Long Zhijun reported on the hotel room type, moving line and hotel supporting situation.

Vice Chairman Wang Nan thanked Nanjing Yangzi State-Owned Investment Group for its support to the supporting services of the World Indoor Athletics Championships and expressed satisfaction with the overall promotion of the Yangtze River Boat Complex as a supporting hotel for the 2020 World Indoor Athletics Championships. She said that in the case of tight time and heavy tasks, Nanjing Yangzi State-Owned Investment Group attaches great importance to strengthening the project organization. It only took a few months to complete the renovation and preparation of the hotel project, fully demonstrating the "China speed" and reflecting the responsibility of state-owned company. Entering the sprint stage of the project, she hopes that Nanjing Yangzi State-Owned Investment Group will continue to complete the project and improve the commercial facilities to ensure the successful completion of the event support task in March.

As the supporting service hotel of the World Indoor Athletics Championships in March 2020, the Nanjing Yangtze River Boat Complex will combine the two themes of “Culture” and “Sports” to select the two hotel brands of Intercontinental Hualuxe and Even. The hotel is located on the east side of Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Sports Park, close to the Yangtze River, with a total land area of 41,000 square meters and a total construction area of 133,000 square meters. The total number of rooms is 568, including 396 rooms in Hualuxe Hotel, 172 rooms in Even, 873 beds, 5 restaurants in various characteristics, 15 small meeting rooms, a large ballroom with 1000 people, a multi-funcation hall with 260 people, a academic lecture hall can contain 600-person , 1,200 square meters of exhibition area, and more than 8,000 square meters of commercial supporting areas. The hotel plans to complete the renovation in November, and complete the joint testing and stress testing of equipment and facilities in December. It will be open for trial operation on January 1st, 2020 and will undertake the hotel services of the World Indoor Athletics Championships in March next year.
