From 13th to 16th May, 16 representatives of the WORLD ATHLETICS arrived in Nanjing one after another for a one-week pre-competition inspection of the 2025 Nanjing World Indoor Athletics Championships. This also marks the official entry of the World Indoor Athletics Championships into the "Nanjing Time".

World Athletics Indoor Championships Nanjing 2025 will be held from 21st to 23rd March next year at the Indoor Athletics Stadium of Nanjing Sports Training Centre. This is the first time that China has hosted the World Indoor Athletics Championships, and it is also another high-level world athletics event that has settled in China after the 2015 World Athletics Championships in Beijing. A total of 26 events, including 60m, 400m, high jump, long jump, pole vault, shot put and men's/women's all-around, will be held during the three-day competition, and the world's top track and field athletes from all over the globe will also gather in Nanjing to compete for glory.

During the visit, WA made a site visit to the competition venues and official hotels, and held a special technical meeting on the functions of the organising committee, such as market development, competition, media operation, medical support, TV broadcasting, and other functions to dovetail one by one.

As the flagship event of WA, we hope to let more Chinese friends know more about athletics through the World Indoor Athletics Championships, and to make the Athletics Games a common event for people all over the world.
